The SC Preferred™ 4 shelf, heavy duty boltless shelving starter with wire decking is designed to maximize storage area with a maximum storage weight of 1200 lbs. per level. It features durable and adaptable storage suitable for retail, industrial, and commercial spaces, with open shelves adjustable at 1" increments. The kit includes rugged 2" x 1", 14 gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers, double riveted horizontal beams that lock into corner posts to form a structurally secure joint preventing back and side sway, and wire decking that allows ventilation, visibility, and light penetration. The open design provides four side access for maximum flexibility, and front-to-back supports help prevent beam rotation when fully loaded. The chip resistant gray baked enamel finish resists wear. The assembly is easy with snap-in components requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips. Dimensions and configurations vary to accommodate various heights, widths, and depths suitable for different facility areas. Wire decking facilitates sprinkler water passage, enhancing fire safety. Particle board ships in two pieces.
