The SC Preferred 5 shelf, standard duty boltless shelving starter with laminate deck is designed to maximize storage areas with a max storage weight of 1000 lbs. per level. It features durable and adaptable storage suitable for retail, industrial, and commercial spaces, with open shelves adjustable at 1" increments for flexibility. The kit includes rugged 2" x 1-1/2" 14 gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams that lock securely to the corner posts, forming a structurally secure joint to prevent back and side sway. The shelving has a sturdy roll-formed steel frame with front-to-back supports to prevent beam rotation under full load and a chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish. The deck consists of stain-resistant, easy-to-clean 1/2" thick white laminated melamine surface panel with pre-cut square edging, which ships in two pieces. The open design allows four-side access, and no bolts, nuts, or clips are required for assembly, enabling easy setup with snap-in components.
