The SC Preferred 3 shelf standard duty boltless shelving starter with laminate deck is designed to maximize storage area with a max storage weight of 1000 lbs. per level. This durable and adaptable shelving system is suited for retail, industrial, and commercial spaces and features open shelves that are adjustable at 1" increments. The easy assembly requires no bolts, nuts, or clips, utilizing snap-in components. The sturdy roll-formed steel framing provides maximum support, with front-to-back supports preventing beam rotation under full load. Double rivet button stud construction locks perimeter beams into corner posts for a structurally secure joint, eliminating back and side sway. Each starter unit includes rugged 2" x 1-1/2" 14 gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams that adjust vertically at 1" increments. The chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish protects the frame, while the stain-resistant, easy-to-clean melamine surface decking measures 1/2" thick with pre-cut square edging in white laminated particle board, which ships in two pieces.
