The SC Preferred™ 2 shelf heavy duty boltless shelving add-on with wire decking is designed to maximize storage areas in retail, industrial, and commercial spaces, supporting a maximum storage weight of 1400 lbs. per level. The kit includes open shelves adjustable at 1" increments, rugged 14 gauge steel T-posts punched on 1" centers, and double-riveted horizontal beams that lock securely into corner posts using double rivet button stud construction to prevent back and side sway. The roll-formed steel framing provides maximum support with front-to-back supports to prevent beam rotation under full load. The open design allows four side access for maximum flexibility, with wire decking that permits ventilation, visibility, and light penetration, as well as the passage of sprinkler water for improved fire safety. The chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish provides durability, and the easy assembly requires no bolts, nuts, or clips, featuring snap-in components for quick setup. Dimensions and various heights, widths, and depths accommodate nearly every facility area. The particle board component ships in two pieces.
