The SC Preferred™ 3 shelf, heavy duty boltless shelving add-on with wire decking is designed to maximize storage area with a maximum storage weight of 1200 lbs. per level. Suitable for retail, industrial, and commercial spaces, it features durable, adaptable open shelves that are adjustable at 1" increments. The shelving offers an open design with four side access for maximum flexibility and easy assembly without bolts, nuts, or clips, using snap-in components. Expansion is facilitated by joining units for greater stability with less construction compared to bolting starter units together. The sturdy roll-formed steel framing provides maximum support, while front-to-back supports help prevent beam rotation under full load. Double rivet button stud construction locks perimeter beams into corner posts to form structurally secure joints, eliminating back and side sway. Each add-on unit includes rugged 14 gauge steel T posts punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams adjustable vertically in 1" increments. It has a chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish and wire decking that allows ventilation, visibility, and light penetration, facilitating sprinkler water passage for improved fire safety and potentially lower insurance premiums. The particle board ships in two pieces.
