The SC Preferred™ 5 shelf heavy duty boltless shelving add-on with wire decking is designed to maximize storage areas in retail, commercial, and industrial applications, supporting a maximum storage weight of 1200 lbs. per level. The open shelves are adjustable at 1" increments, and the unit features an open design allowing four-side access for maximum flexibility. Assembly is easy with snap-in components requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips. Sturdy roll-formed steel framing provides maximum support, with front-to-back supports preventing beam rotation under full load. Double rivet button stud construction locks perimeter beams into corner posts, forming structurally secure joints that eliminate back and side sway. Each add-on unit includes rugged 14 gauge steel T posts punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams adjustable vertically at 1" increments. The chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish enhances durability. Wire decking allows ventilation, visibility, light penetration, and easy sprinkler water passage, improving fire safety. The particle board ships in two pieces.
