The SC Preferred™ 2 shelf, standard duty boltless shelving add on with wire decking is designed to maximize storage with a maximum storage weight of 1000 lbs. per level. Suitable for retail, industrial, and commercial spaces, the open shelves are adjustable at 1" increments and allow four side access for maximum flexibility. The kit includes sturdy roll-formed 14 ga steel T posts punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams that adjust vertically in 1" increments, combined with wire decking that enhances ventilation, visibility, and light penetration while allowing sprinkler water to pass through for improved fire safety. The construction features front-to-back supports to prevent beam rotation under full load and double rivet button stud joints that lock perimeter beams into corner posts, eliminating back and side sway. The shelving system is finished with a chip-resistant gray baked enamel and requires easy assembly with no bolts, nuts, or clips, using snap-in components for quick setup and enhanced stability when joining multiple units. Particle board components ship in two pieces.
