The SC Preferred™ 2 shelf heavy duty boltless shelving add-on with wire decking is designed to maximize your storage area with a max storage weight of 1200 lbs. per level. It features durable and adaptable storage suitable for retail, industrial, and commercial spaces. The open shelves are adjustable at 1" increments, offering flexibility with an open design that allows four side access. The kit includes rugged 14 gauge steel T posts punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams that lock perimeter beams into corner posts for a structurally secure joint, preventing back and side sway. Sturdy roll-formed steel framing provides maximum support, with front-to-back supports preventing beam rotation when fully loaded. The wire decking improves ventilation, visibility, and light penetration, allowing sprinkler water to pass throughout racks easily, enhancing fire safety. The chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish ensures durability. Assembly is easy with snap-in components, requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips, and expansion is facilitated by joining units with more stability and less construction than bolting two starter units together. Particle board ships in two pieces.
