The SC Preferred™ 2 shelf, heavy duty boltless shelving add-on with wire decking is designed to maximize storage with a maximum storage weight of 1200 lbs per level. It features durable roll-formed steel framing for maximum support and front-to-back supports to prevent beam rotation when fully loaded. The shelving unit is adaptable for retail, industrial, and commercial spaces with open shelves adjustable at 1" increments, providing four-side access for maximum flexibility. Double rivet button stud construction locks perimeter beams into the corner posts for a structurally secure joint that eliminates back and side sway. Each add-on unit includes rugged 14 GA steel T posts punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams that adjust vertically in 1" increments. Wire decking is included for ventilation, visibility, light penetration, and sprinkler water passage to enhance fire safety. The chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish protects the unit’s surface. Easy to assemble with no bolts, nuts, or clips required, the system uses snap-in components to join units with more stability and less construction than bolting two starter units together.
