The SC Preferred 5 shelf heavy duty boltless shelving starter measures 48" wide by 48" deep by 120" high and features a laminate deck designed to maximize storage area in retail, commercial, and industrial spaces. It supports a maximum storage weight of 1500 lbs per level and includes sturdy roll-formed steel framing with 2" x 1-1/2" 14 gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams that adjust vertically at 1" increments. The open shelves are adjustable in 1" increments and provide four side access for maximum flexibility. The design uses a double rivet button stud construction locking the perimeter beams into corner posts to form a structurally secure joint, eliminating back and side sway. The chip resistant gray baked enamel finish protects the frame, while the white laminated, stain-resistant, and easy-to-clean melamine surface decking measures 1/2" thick with pre-cut square edging. Assembly is easy and requires no bolts, nuts, or clips.
