The SC Preferred 2 Shelf heavy duty boltless shelving starter with laminate deck is designed to maximize storage areas with a max storage weight capacity of 1400 lbs. per level. It is suitable for retail, industrial, and commercial spaces, featuring durable and adaptable open shelves that are adjustable in 1" increments. The shelving kit includes rugged 2" x 1-1/2" 14 gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams, which lock perimeter beams into corner posts to form a structurally secure joint that prevents back and side sway. The open design allows four-side access providing maximum flexibility. Assembly is easy with snap-in components, requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips. The sturdy roll-formed steel framing provides maximum support with front-to-back supports to help prevent beam rotation under full load. The decking is a 1/2" thick white laminated melamine surface that is stain-resistant, easy to clean, and chip-resistant with a gray baked enamel finish on the steel. The particle board ships in two pieces.
