The SC Preferred 2 shelf heavy duty boltless shelving starter with laminate deck is designed to maximize storage space in retail, industrial, and commercial environments, supporting a maximum storage weight of 1400 lbs. per level. It features durable, adaptable open shelves that are adjustable at 1" increments and provide four-side access for maximum flexibility. The shelving offers an easy assembly process with snap-in components requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips. Constructed with sturdy roll-formed steel framing and front-to-back supports to prevent beam rotation when fully loaded, it utilizes double rivet button stud construction to lock perimeter beams into corner posts, creating structurally secure joints that eliminate back and side sway. Each starter unit includes rugged 2" x 1-1/2" 14 gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams that adjust vertically on 1" increments. The unit features a chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish with a stain-resistant, easy-to-clean white laminated melamine surface deck measuring 1/2" thick with pre-cut square edging. The particle board deck ships in two pieces.
