The SC Preferred 4 shelf heavy-duty boltless shelving starter measures 60" W x 48" D x 120" H and features a laminate deck designed to maximize storage area for retail, commercial, and industrial applications. It supports a maximum storage weight of 1400 lbs. per level, with open shelves adjustable at 1" increments, allowing easy customization. The kit includes rugged 2" x 1-1/2" 14 gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams that lock securely into corner posts, forming a structurally sound joint that prevents back and side sway. Sturdy roll-formed steel framing provides maximum support, with front-to-back supports to prevent beam rotation under full load. The chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish and stain-resistant, easy-to-clean melamine surface decking, which measures 1/2" thick with pre-cut square edging, ensure durability and ease of maintenance. This open design provides four side access for maximum flexibility and features easy assembly with snap-in components—no bolts, nuts, or clips are required. Particle board ships in two pieces.
