The SC Preferred 5 shelf heavy-duty boltless shelving starter kit measures 60"W x 48"D x 120"H and includes a laminate deck designed to maximize your storage area. Each starter unit features rugged 2" x 1-1/2" 14 gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams that adjust vertically in 1" increments, providing strong support with no nuts, bolts, or clips required for assembly. The shelves have a max storage weight of 1400 lbs. per level and the open design allows four-side access for maximum flexibility. The sturdy roll-formed steel framing includes front-to-back supports to prevent beam rotation under load and double rivet button stud construction that locks perimeter beams into corner posts, forming a structurally secure joint that eliminates back and side sway. The chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish on the steel framing is complemented by stain-resistant, easy-to-clean white laminated melamine surface decking, which is 1/2" thick with pre-cut square edging. The particle board decking ships in two pieces.
