The SC Preferred 3 shelf heavy duty boltless shelving starter with laminate deck is designed for retail, commercial, and industrial applications to maximize storage areas with various heights, widths, and depths available. Each level supports a maximum storage weight of 1200 lbs. The open shelves are adjustable at 1" increments, allowing flexible storage configurations. The kit includes rugged 2" x 1-1/2" 14 gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers, double riveted horizontal beams that lock into corner posts with double rivet button stud construction for structural security and stability, preventing back and side sway. The shelving features a sturdy roll-formed steel frame with front-to-back supports to prevent beam rotation under full load. Assembly is easy with snap-in components requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips. The chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish complements a stain-resistant, easy-to-clean 1/2" thick white laminated melamine surface deck with pre-cut square edging; the particle board ships in two pieces.
