The SC Preferred 3 shelf heavy duty boltless shelving starter with laminate deck is designed for retail, industrial, and commercial spaces, providing durable and adaptable storage with a maximum storage weight of 1200 lbs. per level. It features open shelves adjustable at 1" increments and measures 1/2" thick with pre-cut square edging, made of stain-resistant, easy-to-clean melamine surface decking in white/laminated particle board that ships in two pieces. The shelving offers an open design with four-side access for maximum flexibility and includes rugged 2" x 1-1/2" 14 gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers, double rivet button stud construction locking perimeter beams into corner posts to form structurally secure joints and prevent back and side sway, as well as roll-formed steel framing and front-to-back supports to prevent beam rotation under full load. Assembly is easy with snap-in components requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips, and the chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish enhances durability.
