The SC Preferred™ 5 shelf, standard duty boltless shelving starter with wire decking is designed to maximize storage area for retail, commercial, and industrial applications with a max storage weight of 1000 lbs. per level. The durable and adaptable shelving features open shelves adjustable at 1" increments, made of rugged 2" x 1" 14 ga steel uprights punched on 1" centers, and double riveted horizontal beams that lock perimeter beams into the corner posts using double rivet button stud construction, eliminating back and side sway. The open design allows four side access for maximum flexibility, with front-to-back supports to prevent beam rotation when fully loaded. The chip resistant gray baked enamel finish protects the sturdy roll-formed steel framing, and the wire decking promotes ventilation, visibility, and light penetration while allowing sprinkler water to pass through racks easily for improved fire safety. Assembly is easy with snap-in components requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips. Particle board ships in two pieces.
