The SC Preferred™ 2 shelf, standard duty boltless shelving starter with wire decking is designed to maximize storage area with a max storage weight of 1000 lbs. per level. It features durable and adaptable storage suitable for retail, industrial, and commercial spaces. The open shelves are adjustable at 1" increments, allowing for customization in various heights, widths, and depths to accommodate nearly every area of a facility. The system offers easy assembly with snap-in components requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips. Construction includes sturdy roll-formed steel framing for maximum support, front-to-back supports to prevent beam rotation under full load, and double rivet button stud construction that locks perimeter beams into corner posts, forming a structurally secure joint and eliminating back and side sway. Each starter unit comes with rugged 2" x 1" 14 gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams adjustable in 1" increments. The chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish enhances durability. Wire decking provides ventilation, visibility, and light penetration while allowing sprinkler water to pass through easily, improving fire safety. Particle board components ship in two pieces.
