The SC Preferred 4 shelf standard duty boltless shelving starter with laminate deck is designed to maximize storage capacity with a max storage weight of 1000 lbs. per level. Suitable for retail, industrial, and commercial spaces, it features durable, adaptable open shelves that are adjustable at 1" increments. The kit includes rugged 2" x 1-1/2" 14 gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams that lock securely into corner posts using double rivet button stud construction to prevent back and side sway. Its sturdy roll-formed steel framing provides maximum support with front-to-back supports to help prevent beam rotation when fully loaded. The stain-resistant, easy-to-clean melamine laminate surface decking is 1/2" thick with pre-cut square edging and comes shipped as particle board in two pieces. Assembly is easy with snap-in components requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips. The finish is a chip resistant gray baked enamel, and the shelving offers four side access with a fully open design for maximum flexibility.
