The SC Preferred 4 shelf, standard duty boltless shelving starter with laminate deck features a maximum storage weight of 1000 lbs. per level and is designed for retail, industrial, and commercial spaces. The open shelves are adjustable at 1" increments, allowing for versatile storage configurations. This shelving unit is easy to assemble without the need for bolts, nuts, or clips, utilizing snap-in components. It includes sturdy roll-formed steel framing with 2" x 1-1/2" 14 gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers, and double rivet button stud construction locks perimeter beams into corner posts to create a structurally secure joint that prevents back and side sway. The front-to-back supports minimize beam rotation under full load. The shelves have a chip-resistant, gray baked enamel finish, and the decking consists of a 1/2" thick, white laminated melamine surface with pre-cut square edging, which is stain resistant and easy to clean. Particle board ships in two pieces.
