The SC Preferred 4 shelf standard duty boltless shelving starter measures 96" wide by 18" deep by 120" high and supports a maximum storage weight of 1000 lbs. per level. It features durable and adaptable storage suitable for retail, industrial, and commercial spaces. The open shelves are adjustable at 1" increments, with easy assembly requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips. The laminate deck, designed to maximize storage area, is stain resistant and easy to clean, made of 1/2" thick melamine surface with pre-cut square edging, and shipped as particle board in two pieces. The shelving unit consists of sturdy roll-formed steel framing with rugged 2" x 1-1/2" 14 gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers, and double riveted horizontal beams that lock perimeter beams into corner posts, providing a structurally secure joint that eliminates back and side sway. Front-to-back supports prevent beam rotation under full load, and the unit has a chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish. The open design allows four-side access for maximum flexibility, and the kit includes snap-in components for easy setup without nuts, bolts, or clips.
