The SC Preferred 3 shelf standard duty boltless shelving starter with laminate deck is designed to maximize storage areas in retail, industrial, and commercial spaces, supporting a maximum storage weight of 1000 lbs. per level. The open shelves are adjustable in 1" increments, allowing customization to fit various storage needs. The kit includes rugged 2" x 1-1/2" 14 gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams that lock perimeter beams into corner posts to eliminate back and side sway. The system features sturdy roll-formed steel framing with front-to-back supports to prevent beam rotation when fully loaded. The laminate decking is white, stain resistant, easy to clean, made of 1/2" thick melamine particle board with pre-cut square edging, and ships in two pieces. The shelving is finished with a chip-resistant gray baked enamel for durability and ease of maintenance. Assembly is simple and requires no bolts, nuts, or clips, using snap-in components for easy set-up.
