The SC Preferred 3 shelf standard duty boltless shelving starter with laminate deck is designed to maximize storage capacity with a max storage weight of 1000 lbs. per level, suitable for retail, industrial, and commercial environments. The kit includes rugged 2" x 1-1/2" 14 GA steel uprights punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams that adjust vertically in 1" increments. The open shelves feature a stain-resistant, easy-to-clean 1/2" thick melamine surface with pre-cut square edging, white laminated, and particle board ships in two pieces. The sturdy roll-formed steel framing provides maximum support with front-to-back supports to prevent beam rotation under load, and double rivet button stud construction locks perimeter beams into corner posts to form a structurally secure joint that eliminates back and side sway. The open design allows four-side access for maximum flexibility. Assembly is easy and requires no bolts, nuts, or clips due to a snap-in component design. The chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish enhances durability while dimensions and configurations accommodate various heights, widths, and depths for nearly any facility layout.
