The SC Preferred 4-shelf standard duty boltless shelving starter with laminate deck is designed to maximize storage areas in retail, commercial, and industrial spaces with a max storage weight of 1000 lbs. per level. It features adjustable open shelves at 1" increments, easy assembly with no bolts, nuts, or clips required, and sturdy roll-formed steel framing for maximum support. Front-to-back supports prevent beam rotation under load, while double rivet button stud construction locks perimeter beams into the corner posts, ensuring a structurally secure joint and eliminating back and side sway. Each starter unit includes 2" x 1-1/2" 14 gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers, double riveted horizontal beams that adjust vertically in 1" increments, and a chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish. The deck surface is stain-resistant, easy-to-clean white laminated melamine, 1/2" thick with pre-cut square edging. The included particle board ships in two pieces.
