The SC Preferred 3 shelf, standard duty boltless shelving starter with laminate deck is designed for retail, industrial, and commercial spaces, offering a max storage weight of 1000 lbs. per level. The kit includes rugged 2" x 1-1/2" 14 gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams that adjust vertically at 1" increments, providing sturdy roll-formed steel framing with front-to-back supports to prevent beam rotation under full load. The open shelves are adjustable at 1" increments and provide four side access for maximum flexibility. Assembly is easy with snap-in components requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips. The shelving features a chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish and a stain-resistant, easy-to-clean white melamine surface decking that is 1/2" thick with pre-cut square edging; the particle board ships in two pieces. The double rivet button stud construction securely locks perimeter beams into corner posts, forming a structurally secure joint and eliminating back and side sway.
