The SC Preferred™ 2 Shelf Heavy Duty Boltless Shelving Add-On with Wire Decking is designed to maximize storage space with a maximum storage weight of 1500 lbs. per level. It features durable, adaptable storage suitable for retail, industrial, and commercial spaces. The open shelves are adjustable in 1-inch increments, providing flexible configuration options. The kit includes rugged 14 gauge steel T posts punched on 1-inch centers and double-riveted horizontal beams that lock perimeter beams into corner posts using a double rivet button stud construction to form a structurally secure joint that eliminates back and side sway. The open design allows four-side access for maximum flexibility, and the wire decking enhances ventilation, visibility, and light penetration while allowing sprinkler water to easily pass through for improved fire safety. The shelving has a chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish and easy assembly with snap-in components requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips. The add-on unit facilitates expansion by joining units with greater stability and less construction than bolting two starter units together. The sturdy roll-formed steel framing provides maximum support, and the vertical beam adjustment is available at 1-inch increments to accommodate various heights, widths, and depths for nearly every facility area.
