The SC Preferred 3 shelf standard duty boltless shelving starter with laminate deck is designed for retail, industrial, and commercial spaces, featuring a maximum storage weight of 1000 lbs. per level. The open shelves are adjustable at 1" increments, and the unit offers easy assembly without the need for bolts, nuts, or clips. The shelving includes rugged 2" x 1-1/2" 14 gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams that lock perimeter beams into corner posts, eliminating back and side sway and providing structural security. It has a chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish and stain-resistant, easy-to-clean melamine surface decking, which measures 1/2" thick with pre-cut square edging and comes in white laminated particle board shipped in two pieces. The open design allows four-sided access for maximum flexibility, with front-to-back supports to prevent beam rotation under load.
