The Formax® FlashCard XL business card cutter is a large format, high-quality solution for short-run production of full-bleed business cards, postcards, photos, and more. Its rugged and intuitive design allows users to cut cards on demand at speeds of up to 230 business cards per minute. The machine features a user-friendly LCD display that enables operators to choose from six pre-set jobs or enter and save up to ten custom cuts. The FlashCard XL is pre-programmed to process 12" x 18" and 13" x 19" printed sheets, with an infeed tray capable of holding up to forty 200gsm sheets at a time, accommodating paper weights of up to 350gsm / 130# cover. It utilizes an automatic friction-feed system, allowing it to cut coated and uncoated paper, laminated sheets, and card stock. The precision cutting blades are self-sharpening and accurate to within 0.1mm, and users can enhance cutting accuracy with the built-in registration mark reader. The device comes with a standard 3.5" cutting cassette to produce 24-up 2" x 3.5" business cards, with optional interchangeable cassettes available for producing various sizes, including 5" x 7" cards, 3.5" x 5" postcards, 4" x 5" photos, 8.5" x 11" full bleed brochures, and 11" x 17" menus. An optional cabinet with a wastebin is available for users with increased volume, featuring casters for easy movement and storage.
