The Flashguard 13R6 heavy-duty laminator is ideal for print shops, schools, and corporate offices. It features a rugged metal housing and user-friendly attributes, allowing it to easily laminate and protect photos, documents, signs, menus, IDs, and more. The laminator is equipped with a heavy-duty 6 roller system, comprising 4 heat rollers and 2 cooling rollers for fast, reliable sealing. The all-metal construction ensures durability while staying cool to the touch due to an internal cooling system. The variable temperature control adjusts up to 320 degrees F (160 degrees C), and for temperature-sensitive documents, a cold lamination function is available for sealing specially-designed pressure sensitive laminating pouches. Each laminator comes with a starter pack of 20 FG-3 premium 3 mil laminating pouches, and operation is facilitated through an intuitive graphics-based LCD control panel that allows users to set the temperature and speed to match the laminating pouch and document thickness. The control panel also includes graphic indicators for hot/cold mode, speed, temperature, cooling fan, and roller operation, along with the capability to store up to 2 custom settings for frequently run projects. The 13R6 accommodates pouches up to 13" wide and up to 14 mil, with a maximum laminating thickness of 3mm. Formax provides 3 mil and 5 mil laminating pouches for standard letter size 8.5" x 11" projects. With an operating speed of up to 55 inches per minute, users can efficiently complete projects. Additional features include a reverse button to clear jams and a dedicated cool-down cycle to protect the heated rollers.
