The FlashGuard 18R6 heavy-duty laminator is designed for use in print shops, schools, and corporate offices, featuring a rugged metal housing that ensures durability and a user-friendly experience. This laminator is equipped with 6 heavy-duty rollers, including 4 heat rollers and 2 cooling rollers, enabling fast and reliable sealing. It offers a variable temperature control that reaches up to 320 degrees F (160 degrees C), along with a cold lamination option for temperature-sensitive documents, compatible with specially-designed pressure sensitive laminating pouches. Each unit is accompanied by a starter pack of 20 FG-3 premium 3 mil laminating pouches and can handle pouches up to 18" wide, with a maximum thickness of 14 mil and a laminating thickness capacity of up to 3mm. The wide feed opening accommodates larger projects like maps and posters, and the operating speed can reach up to 47 inches per minute. The intuitive graphics-based LCD control panel allows users to set temperature and speed tailored to the laminating pouch and document thickness, supported by a handy speed/temperature chart printed on the laminator's surface. The control panel also features graphic indicators for hot/cold mode, speed, temperature, cooling fan, and roller operation, along with the ability to store 1 or 2 custom settings for frequently run projects. Additionally, the 18R6 incorporates anti-jam rollers, a reverse button, and a dedicated cool-down cycle to protect the rollers.
