3M™ Tartan™ 8934 filament tape is designed for light-duty applications such as reinforcing boxes, strapping, and bundling light items. This tape features a thickness of 4.0 mil and is constructed with clear polypropylene backing reinforced with glass yarn filaments and a synthetic rubber resin adhesive. It offers good adhesion to most fiberboard surfaces and adheres well to a variety of plastics and metal surfaces. The tape boasts a scuff-resistant backing, high tensile strength, and is abrasion and moisture resistant. Additionally, it allows for printing and illustrations to be viewed through the tape, provides good shear and initial adhesion, and demonstrates good aging properties.
