Super strong 3M™ 4959 VHB™ tape provides the simplicity of a tape fastener with incredible strength that often replaces rivets, bolts, screws, spot-welds, liquid adhesives, and other permanent fasteners. This tape is designed to attach stiffeners, bond aluminum skin to steel support in trucks, vans, and ambulances, or bond architectural signs to frames. It features a general-purpose adhesive on both sides of firm type foam, is moisture, solvent, and UV resistant, and has a polyester film liner. The tape consists of white acrylic foam with an acrylic adhesive and operates effectively within a temperature range of -40° F to 200° F. It complies with UL746C standards.
