3M™ 4462 double sided polyethylene foam tape is designed to fill gaps on irregular surfaces, distribute stress, seal, cushion, dampen vibrations, and resist impact. The 4462W variant combines a conformable closed cell foam with a rubber adhesive, providing high initial adhesion to various surfaces, including polyethylene and polypropylene. It features a general grade 1/32" closed cell polyethylene foam with rubber adhesive, making it ideal for many indoor general-purpose mounting and joining applications. This tape can bond to polyethylene, polypropylene, and many other plastics, while its extremely flexible foam conforms to almost any surface. The ideal temperature range for use is between 70°F and 100°F.
