The Super Strong 3M™ 4949 VHB™ tape combines the convenience of a tape fastener with remarkable strength, capable of replacing rivets, bolts, screws, spot-welds, liquid adhesives, and other permanent fasteners in various applications. This tape utilizes firm acrylic adhesives, offering excellent long-term holding power, with peel adhesion and tensile strength significantly surpassing typical pressure-sensitive tape products. It is designed to resist moisture, solvents, and U.V. light, making it suitable for both interior and exterior uses. The kit includes a general-purpose adhesive on both sides of a firm-type foam, features a clear polyester liner and black acrylic foam with an acrylic adhesive, and operates effectively within a temperature range of -40°F to 200°F. Additionally, it complies with UL746C standards for safety and reliability.
