Super strong 3M™ 4950 VHB™ tape provides the simplicity of a tape fastener with incredible strength, replacing rivets, bolts, screws, spot-welds, liquid adhesives, and other permanent fasteners in many situations. VHB™ joining systems utilize firm acrylic adhesives that offer excellent long-term holding power, with significant peel adhesion and tensile holding power that surpass typical pressure-sensitive tape products. Designed for both interior and exterior applications, this tape exhibits resistance to solvents, temperature extremes, and U.V. light. It is suitable for attaching stiffeners, bonding aluminum skin to steel support of trucks, vans, and ambulances, and bonding architectural signs to frames. The product features a general-purpose adhesive on both sides of firm type foam, is moisture, solvent, and UV-resistant, and comes with a kraft paper liner. The white acrylic foam has an acrylic adhesive and operates within a temperature range of -40° F to 200° F. Additionally, it complies with UL746C standards.
