3M™ 4032 double sided urethane foam tape is designed to fill gaps on irregular surfaces, distribute stress, seal, cushion, dampen vibrations, and resist impact. This product features premium grade 1/32" open cell polyurethane foam with a firm acrylic adhesive that is suitable for a variety of indoor applications and exterior applications where the tape is protected from environmental exposure. The acrylic adhesive provides high bond strength along with high temperature and solvent resistance, while the conformable foam offers high shear strength. The ideal operating temperature range for this tape is between 70° F and 100° F. Additionally, the natural colored urethane foam tape varies from white to light yellow, and it will change to light yellow upon exposure to sunlight (ultraviolet radiation); this color change is normal and does not impact the tape's performance.
