3M™ 4026 double sided urethane foam squares are designed with a high temperature resistant, acrylic adhesive. These conformable foams provide high shear strength and are available with either a high temperature holding acrylic adhesive system or a rubber adhesive system, making them suitable for bonding to various types of surfaces for mounting, joining, and holding. The key features include uniform stress distribution over bonded areas, the ability to fill gaps and bond irregular surfaces, and they are made from 1/16" open cell polyurethane foam with firm acrylic adhesive. This product is ideal for many indoor applications and can also be used for exterior applications when protected from the environment. The acrylic adhesive has high bond strength and excels in high temperature and solvent resistance, with an ideal temperature range of 70°F to 100°F. The natural colored urethane foam tape products exhibit color variations from white to light yellow, with a normal color change to light yellow occurring upon exposure to sunlight (ultraviolet radiation), which does not impact the tape's performance. 3M™ double coated urethane foam tape 4026 is available in roll form and die-cut pieces, specifically as die-cut pieces of 3M™ tape 4026 in 3/4" or 1" squares, offered either as individual pieces double linered with an extended liner on one side or in pads of 48 squares.
