3M™ 4032 double sided urethane foam tape is designed to fill gaps on irregular surfaces, distribute stress, seal, cushion, dampen vibrations, and resist impact. This product features premium grade 1/32" open cell polyurethane foam with a firm acrylic adhesive, making it suitable for various mounting, joining, and holding applications. It is ideal for many indoor applications or for exterior use when protected from environmental exposure. The acrylic adhesive offers high bond strength along with high temperature and solvent resistance, while the conformable foam provides high shear strength. The ideal temperature range for this tape is 70° F to 100° F. The natural colored urethane foam tape varies in color from white to light yellow, with a normal occurrence of color change to light yellow upon exposure to sunlight (ultraviolet radiation), which does not affect the tape's performance.
