3M™ 665 Repositionable Tapes are double-sided film tapes that are ideal for applications where one or both parts need to be repositioned or removed easily. The tapes feature a medium tack adhesive on both sides of the PVC tape, with a higher tack on the face side (interior of roll). The linerless feature simplifies both manual and automatic dispensing, eliminating the need for special liner removal equipment. These tapes are suitable for core starting and end tabbing of papers, foils, and films, and have a 3" core size. The ideal tape application temperature range is 70°F - 100°F. The tapes offer good adhesive anchorage to the film carrier, allowing one-piece tape removal from various surfaces. A slight side-to-side adhesion differential enables specific side removal if applied properly. Additionally, the complete plastic construction of both tapes provides a hot wire cuttable feature for plastic packaging.
