Super strong 3M™ 5925 VHB™ acrylic foam tape combines the simplicity of a tape fastener with exceptional strength, often replacing rivets, bolts, screws, spot-welds, liquid adhesives, and other permanent fasteners in various applications. This double-coated pressure-sensitive adhesive tape is designed for bonding a wide range of substrates, including lower surface energy materials such as powder-coated paints and plastics, and in many instances, surface abrasion is not necessary. The tape is conformable, providing excellent bonding to relatively irregular surfaces and mixed substrates, and it boasts resistance to moisture, solvents, and UV radiation. The tape features a red polyethylene film liner and black foam with an acrylic adhesive, operates effectively within a temperature range of -40° F to 250° F, and meets UL746C certification standards. The kit includes a roll of the tape, ensuring users have a reliable and versatile solution for their bonding needs.
