3M™ 4462 double sided polyethylene foam tape is designed to fill gaps on irregular surfaces, distribute stress, seal, cushion, dampen vibrations, and resist impact. The 4462W variant features a conformable closed cell foam combined with a rubber adhesive that offers high initial adhesion to various surfaces, including polyethylene and polypropylene. Key attributes include a general grade 1/32" closed cell polyethylene foam with rubber adhesive, making it ideal for numerous indoor general purpose mounting and joining applications. This tape is suitable for bonding to polyethylene, polypropylene, and many other plastics, while its extremely flexible foam allows it to conform to almost any surface. The ideal temperature range for application is 70°F to 100°F.
