3M™ Scotch® 9425 removable double sided film tape features a permanent adhesive on one side and a repositionable adhesive on the other, making it ideal for applications where parts need to be easily repositioned or removed. The tape includes a medium tack adhesive on the backside, allowing for easy removal from various foils and films without leaving adhesive residue, and it can often be reused multiple times, though specific tests are recommended to confirm suitability for particular applications. The face side has a high tack or "permanent" adhesive, while the tape itself is made from PVC with a 58# natural polycoated Kraft release liner and has a 3" core size. The moisture stable liner enhances the processing of parts and facilitates the removal of the liner. Additionally, the polyester film carrier of 3M® tape 9425HT provides dimensional stability, improved handling for die cutting and laminating, and higher temperature resistance, ensuring robust performance in various conditions.
