3M™ 4016 double sided urethane foam tape is designed to fill gaps on irregular surfaces while distributing stress, sealing, cushioning, dampening vibrations, and resisting impact. This product includes premium grade 1/16" open cell polyurethane foam with a firm acrylic adhesive, making it ideal for various indoor applications and for exterior settings where protection from environmental conditions is provided. The acrylic adhesive offers high bond strength along with high temperature and solvent resistance. This conformable foam exhibits high shear strength and is effective within an ideal temperature range of 70° F to 100° F. The natural colored urethane foam tape ranges from white to light yellow, with a normal color change to light yellow occurring upon exposure to sunlight (ultraviolet radiation), which does not impact the performance of the tape.
