Super strong 3M™ 5925 VHB™ acrylic foam tape provides the simplicity of a tape fastener with incredible strength that in many situations replaces rivets, bolts, screws, spot-welds, liquid adhesives, and other permanent fasteners. This double coated pressure sensitive adhesive tape is designed for bonding a wide variety of substrates, including lower surface energy materials such as powder coated paints and plastics, often without the need for surface abrasion. Key features include the ability to bond to a variety of plastics and paint systems, conformable tape that provides excellent bonding to relatively irregular surfaces and mixed substrates, and resistance to moisture, solvents, and UV light. The tape has a red polyethylene film liner, black foam with an acrylic adhesive, and operates within a temperature range of -40° F to 250° F. It also meets UL746C compliance standards.
