3M™ 9415PC removable double sided film tape features permanent adhesive on one side and repositionable adhesive on the other, making it ideal for applications where repositioning or easy removal is required. This tape includes a low tack adhesive on the backside, allowing for easy removal from various films, foils, and most papers, with the potential for multiple reuses, though users should conduct specific tests to confirm suitability for their applications. The high tack or permanent adhesive on the face side ensures strong bonding, while the tape itself is made of translucent polyester with a 70# white polycoated kraft release liner and a 3" core size. The product boasts good adhesive anchorage to the film carrier, promoting one-piece tape removal from many surfaces. The slight side-to-side adhesion differential enables specific side removal when applied correctly. Additionally, the complete plastic construction of both tapes facilitates a hot wire cuttable feature for plastic packaging. Flexible materials tend to adhere more effectively to the low tack adhesive compared to rigid materials, such as paper versus cardboard, and it may be necessary to remove curl from certain materials.
