3M™ 9415PC removable double sided film tape features a permanent adhesive on one side and a repositionable adhesive on the other, making it ideal for applications where components need to be repositioned or removed easily. The tape includes a low tack adhesive on the exterior side that permits easy removal from various films, foils, and most papers, with the potential for multiple reuses; however, users should conduct specific tests for suitability. The interior side features a high tack or permanent adhesive. This tape is made from translucent polyester and comes with a 70# white polycoated kraft release liner, with a core size of 3 inches. It exhibits good adhesive anchorage to the film carrier for effective one-piece tape removal from many surfaces. The product has a slight side-to-side adhesion differential, allowing for targeted removal when applied correctly, and its complete plastic construction offers a hot wire cuttable feature for plastic packaging. Flexible materials adhere better to the low tack adhesive compared to rigid materials, and it may be necessary to remove curl from certain substrates.
