Super Strong 3M™ 4910 Clear Acrylic VHB™ Tape is engineered to deliver the simplicity of a tape fastener while providing exceptional strength that often replaces rivets, bolts, screws, spot-welds, and liquid adhesives in various applications. It is colorless, making it ideal for bonding transparent materials or situations where a colored bond line is not desirable. The tape exhibits somewhat lower peel, tensile, and shear performance than other VHB™ options due to its inherent softness. Key features include its use in sealing skylight inner and outer domes, mounting backlit translucent signs, and edge-bonding resin-filled glass. It is recommended for glass and acrylic applications, and is moisture, solvent, and UV resistant, supporting a temperature range of -40°F to 200°F. The tape comes with a red polyethylene film liner and features a clear acrylic formulation with acrylic adhesive.
