3M™ 4016 double sided urethane foam tape is designed to fill gaps on irregular surfaces, distribute stress, seal, cushion, dampen vibrations, and resist impact. It features premium grade 1/16" open cell polyurethane foam with a firm acrylic adhesive, making it suitable for various indoor applications as well as exterior applications where the tape is protected from the environment. The acrylic adhesive provides high bond strength along with high temperature and solvent resistance. This conformable foam boasts high shear strength, with an ideal temperature range of 70° F to 100° F. The natural colored urethane foam tape products may vary from white to light yellow, with a color change to light yellow occurring upon exposure to sunlight (ultraviolet radiation); this change is normal and does not affect the tape's performance.
