3M™ 4032 double sided urethane foam tape is designed to fill gaps on irregular surfaces, distribute stress, seal, cushion, dampen vibrations, and resist impact. This premium grade tape features a 1/32" open cell polyurethane foam with a firm acrylic adhesive, making it suitable for various indoor applications and for exterior use where protection from environmental factors is ensured. The acrylic adhesive provides high bond strength along with high temperature and solvent resistance, while the conformable foam exhibits high shear strength. The ideal operating temperature range for this product is between 70° F and 100° F. Additionally, the natural colored urethane foam tape ranges from white to light yellow, with a normal color change to light yellow occurring upon exposure to ultraviolet radiation, which does not affect the tape's performance.
