3M™ 4032 double sided urethane foam tape is designed to fill gaps on irregular surfaces, distribute stress, seal, cushion, dampen vibrations, and resist impact. The kit includes premium grade 1/32" open cell polyurethane foam with either a high temperature holding acrylic adhesive system or a rubber adhesive system, providing options for bonding to various surfaces for mounting, joining, and holding. It features high bond strength and high temperature and solvent resistance, with a conformable foam that exhibits high shear strength. The ideal temperature range for application is between 70° F and 100° F. The natural colored urethane foam tape products vary in color from white to light yellow, with the color changing to light yellow upon exposure to sunlight (ultraviolet radiation), a normal occurrence that does not affect tape performance.
